New Client Information:

Due to the overwhelming need for free services for children with disabilities, we at Leading Education & Advocacy for Families, Inc. need you to understand and be mindful of some strategies and procedures in place to help streamline your service and open up time for others.

• Triage Page:Please give some basic information along with any pertinent information you feel necessary to your child’s situation.
• Documentation:Please feel free to also provide documents that the advocate can use for more information specific to your issue. These can and should include current IEPs, evaluations, progress reports and communications.

The documents can be found here and all pages may be returned by email, mail or in person. Please email them to intake@leafpa.org, or mail to LEAF, Inc. P.O.Box 16004, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.

Once you have been assigned an advocate, they will provide you a general time frame of their availability. When scheduling a meeting, consider doing it via email. In the email include and introduce the advocate and request a few dates and times to accommodate your team. This assures that everyone is available and on the same page.
